For many people, life doesn’t always go as planned.
A marriage crumbles. A child goes astray. An addiction threatens life or sanity. Scars from an abused or neglected past overwhelm. In whatever form, something happens to turn the world upside down and the stomach inside out.
Agape Counseling exists to offer hope and healing to hurting people. The identity of clients and the material they share is held in the strictest confidence. The only exceptions are those required by law: when there is a threat of harm to one’s self or another, or in the case of the abuse of a child or elderly person. Interactions with clients are conducted according to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Agape Counseling is a Christian agency comprised of trained therapists who hold a master’s or doctorate degree. Customary fees for professional services are commensurate with community standards. If a client is unable to pay the customary fee, a charge can be arranged on a sliding scale based on the family’s annual gross income.
Located on the Woodmont Hills Campus, most counseling appointments are scheduled during the day. Extended evening hours are available but are limited. The Agape staff handles the scheduling of all appointments, including those for new clients. Contact Agape Counseling at (615) 269-6220.
Taking care of an elderly parent is one of the most difficult challenges we face. There are special needs associated with the giving of care to aging parents.
Care Givers is a community of support that allows those of us experiencing this role reversal to share concerns and frustrations. We commit ourselves to prayer and help each other eliminate any sense of guilt. We understand that “we can only do what we can do” and strive to help each other understand the balance necessary among ourselves, our families, and our care giving. We support each other emotionally and psychologically. We share practical information regarding health, medical, and financial including Medicare and nursing home information.
Care Givers meets the first Sunday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in Room 202E at Woodmont Hills. We reach out to each other regularly through email. Contact Chris & Dave Tomlin | SALT@woodmont.org | 615.883.2227

The purpose of Faith Family Medical Clinic is to provide the residents of greater Nashville who do not have health insurance with affordable, quality primary medical care.
Faith Family seeks to become the family physician for these residents. With a low-cost primary care provider available to them, people will be able to seek out medical care at the onset of of any problems. Treatment can then begin early-on instead of after their conditions have become more complicated.
Clinic patients will also benefit from counseling and education services designed to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Family Medical appreciates your financial assistance and/or medical expertise.

"We all have our secrets: thoughts, memories, feelings that we keep to ourselves. Often we think, 'If people knew what I feel or think, they would not love me.' These carefully kept secrets can do us much harm. They can make us feel guilty or ashamed and may lead us to self-rejection, depression, and even suicidal thoughts and actions.
"One of the most important things we can do with our secrets is to share them in a safe place with people we trust. When we have a good way to bring our secrets into the light and can look at them with others, we will quickly discover that we are not alone with our secrets and that our trusting friends will love us more deeply and more intimately than before. Bringing our secrets into the light creates community and inner healing. As a result of sharing secrets, not only will others love us better but we will love ourselves more fully. " -Henri Nouwen
Grace for the Wounded provides a confidential place to share with others who have walked this journey. It offers an agenda-driven, Christ-centered look at the lies the world has taught us to believe about who we are instead of living in the truth of God's word.
